The Studio
We started out as a freelance, one-man practice focused on helping brands solve marketing and communication problems through consulting.
The studio was founded by Guillermo Quintero Reyes, who came from a background in revenue management and sales. After leaving the hospitality industry, he began working as a consultant, helping startups and small businesses improve their positioning, messaging, and commercial performance. At the same time, driven by a long-standing interest in film, visuals, and creative work, he started learning photography and video production on his own.
Over time, those two paths began to merge. Photo and video production became a natural extension of the services clients needed. As more projects started to move from planning to planning and execution, the freelance practice evolved into what GQR Studios is today.
We specialize in commercial and product photography, video production, and stop-motion animation. We work with brands across tech, consumer products, buildables, and lifestyle, producing visual assets designed for marketing, advertising, and digital platforms.
